Terms of Service

1. What ASOptimus is

ASOptimus is a keyword-research tool for app developers: a desktop application plus a cloud service that measure App Store search demand and competition for phrases relevant to your app, and assemble metadata suggestions from the results. ASOptimus is operated by Individual Entrepreneur EGOR SHEVKUNOV, registered in Georgia ("we", "the operator"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts and activation keys

Access works through an activation key sent to your email. The key is bound to your device on first use and is personal — don't share or resell it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the email address you sign up with. We may revoke keys that are abused (automation against our service, resale, attempts to disrupt the service or third-party stores).

3. Credits and billing

Usage is billed in prepaid credits (1 credit = 1 USD). Credits are debited per verified keyphrase as a run progresses — you pay for work actually performed, and a run can be paused and resumed at any time. Estimates shown before a run are estimates, not fixed prices; a run may use up to ~10% more keyphrases than estimated, which is billed the same way. Credits are not transferable and carry no cash value outside the service. Promotional and beta credits can be withdrawn if obtained or used abusively.

4. Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record — your payment, invoice, sales tax/VAT and payment data are handled by Paddle under Paddle's buyer terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund policy.

5. Beta period

During the beta the service is provided free or with granted credits, on an as-is, best-effort basis: features may change, availability is not guaranteed, and data created during the beta may be reset with notice. Beta grants ("free credits") have no cash value.

6. Fair use

Don't: probe or overload our infrastructure or third-party services beyond what the app itself does; reverse the service to extract its scoring internals for a competing service; use the results to violate any store's developer terms. The tool performs store lookups from your machine at conservative, human-like rates by design — don't modify it to do otherwise.

7. Results and liability

Keyword scores are measurements and estimates, not guarantees of ranking or revenue. The service is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights where they apply.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days ahead. You can stop using the service at any time; treatment of unused credits is described in the Refund policy. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms.
